Newcastle snatched defeat from the jaws of victory in a rare Saturday 3pm kick off at St James' against away specialists Everton.
An insipid performance saw Everton take the lead in the 19th minute from a corner before Ramsey equalised with a smart finish.
A lack of concentration saw us concede just two minutes later.
Following a late Murphy equaliser, we then contrived to concede again, this time only one minute after scoring following a poor giveaway by Gordon in his own half.
One final chance came in stoppage time with Tonali absolutely hammering a shot towards goal, only to see it tipped over by perennial pain Jordan Pickford.
A poor end to a largely disappointing month, but if the prospect of a March fixture list comprising Man U, Man City, Barcelona, Chelsea, Barcelona and the mackems doesn't rouse us, nothing will.
Time to get behind the lads.
